Through various weekly sittings, the UBC Meditation Community aims to provide a welcoming environment, starting point, and support for UBC students, faculty, staff, and community members for learning, practicing, exploring, and discussing meditation.

The sessions are open to people from all backgrounds and religious traditions, and all levels of experience and interest in meditation. Attending more than 1 session requires a yearly registration fee of $5 for UBC students and $8 for non-UBC students good from September 1, 2011 to August 31, 2012. This non-refundable fee is required by the UBC Alma Mater Society and goes towards the group’s operating costs (e.g., cushions, events).
